Anecdotes:

La veille de sa mort, il avait annoncé à son neveu Chavo Guerrero qu'il n'avait pas touché à quelque produit que ce soit depuis quatre ans...

Le 13 novembre 2005, Eddie Guerrero fut retrouvé mort à son hôtel (l'autopsie révèlera une mort naturelle mais le tout fut accéléré par ses abus passés au niveau de la drogue)

Ses meilleurs amis à l'époque étaient Rey Mysterio, David Batista et Chris Benoit et le sont restés pendant longtemps.
